Specific Usage Design
Specific usage design samples air continously, which is automatically heated/if necessary/, filtered, drawn into the detector cell, where it passes through the electrolyte solution. If v or g agents are present, the galvanic voltage produced by the cell increases. The change is amplified by the electronic module which sounds the detector horn and/or activated a flashing light, applies power to the remote terminals and stops the pump motor. The horn will continue to sound and/or the light flash until the detector is reset or disconnected gy the operator. The system is designed for manpack, fixed emplacement and vehicular use. Dry cell battery is used for manpack application. M10 power supply is used for fixed emplacement appl. Mounting kit and installation kit are used for 1/4 ton utility truck appl.
