Special Features
Shall be a patient temp management system designed to regulate patient temperature by the application of a hyperthermia blanket through which temp-controlled air is circulated; the temp control shall provide min of 3 air temp settings between 32 and 43 degrees c (89.6a& 109.4 degrees f); system shall provide flowrate of 25 cfm; an over temp visual & audible alarm shall activate when air temp exceeds 53 degrees c (127.4 degrees f); heat shall automatically shutdown by an over-temp condition; operation of patient warmer shall not be adversely affected by electromagnetic interference (i.E. Operation of electrosurgical unit); shall weigh less than 15 lbs; be freestanding or attachable to iv pole; the unit shall be capable of quiet operation w/noise levels < 60d (a) measured 3-ft from unit; shall operate on 120 volts; shall be supplied w/nationally recognized lab (like ul) approved; 3-wire power cord & plug suitable for hospital environments
Supplementary Features
The unit shall be provided with at least 10 blankets (ea): upper body, lower body, and torso. A minmum 6.0 ft long, 3 in. Hose shall be included to connect the unit to the blankets; unit shall be provided with a spare hose, hose clip, sheet clip and air filter (high efficiency filter capable of withstanding hazards of normal use in a hospital setting; unit shall be transported in a hardened, reusable carrying case; 2 operators manuals and two service manuals shall be supplied with each unit
