Area on a white card which is inserted into a slot at the top of the camera. A x-omatic c-1 cassette is inserted into the camera, the cassette's patient id window automatically opens, exposure is made, and the window automatically closes. The entire process takes approx. 1 second. The camera has digital display powered by a 9 vdc battery. Includes 2 ea operator and 2ea maintenance manuals.
