Er kann so konstruiert sein, dass er in einen Filter, eine Flüssigkeit (oder einen ähnlichen Hohlraum) passt, oder er kann ein integriertes Außengehäuse und Montageeinrichtungen aufweisen und so konstruiert sein, dass er direkt an einen Motor, Kompressor oder dergleichen angeschlossen werden kann.
